What was your experience like working with KYNAH?
As a bride getting married during COVID, Aisha and Kynah made the
experience of shopping for wedding outfits easy and amazing. Aisha and her
team spent time trying to find my perfect reception outfit and helped me
create my dream lehenga. I went back and forth on the colors and design and
Aisha knew exactly what my vision was and executed it perfectly.
What attracted you to choosing your custom Coffee Lehenga, as well as the customized Tahi Lehenga for your sister, for your wedding?
The custom Coffee Lehenga’s color is what initially drew me
in, but I could not ignore the intricate sequin work on the skirt and
blouse. I told Aisha I wanted to shine, and she helped create that look for
my reception! We customized the blouse and added tassels throughout the
blouse, which completed the look. I still remember having my “say yes to
the dress” moment with Aisha on video chat right when she showed me the
Coffee Lehenga. As for my sister’s custom
Tahi Lehenga, she wanted a
sparkly green sister-of-the-bride look, and she got exactly what she
wanted. My sister wanted to break it down on the dance floor without
feeling restricted by a heavy outfit, and the
Tahi lehenga was a perfect
fit.
Tell us! How did you and your husband meet?
My husband and I met at a tailgate for a football game and went our
separate ways. A year later, we reconnected, and we have been together ever
since! Timing is really everything!
What’s one piece of advice you have for other brides/brides-to-be?
A piece of advice for other brides is to pre-plan every single
moment of your wedding week so that you can truly be in the moment and
enjoy it. Creating a timeline with your coordinator/planner will help you
enjoy your wedding events along with everyone else. Those couple of days
will fly by, so try to soak in the moments!
If you had to choose one moment from your wedding or engagement, what would it be?
I couldn’t possibly choose one favorite moment from my wedding, as
there were so many. If I had to pick just one, it would be mine and my
husband’s first look. It was special spending a few minutes alone, just
soaking in the moment before we had to get married!
