The Royal Couple

The Royal Couple
Shimmering in emerald green, dripping in gold, and decked out in decadence, this couple was truly the royal couple! Not only is their wedding a grand celebration, but their love story is too. This wedding was truly fit for a king and a queen, and that's exactly what the two represent! Our gorgeous KYNAH bride Sanjna, looks elegant in KYNAH's very own Elizabeth Lehenga. The colors and details compliment our beautiful bride perfectly from head to toe! Congratulations to this lovely couple - the KYNAH team couldn't be happier for the both of you! We wish you all the love and happiness in the world.
As said by Sanjna:
How did you hear about KYNAH? How was your experience working with
KYNAH?
I found KYNAH through Instagram. There were so many eye catching outfits, I knew I had to save it for a special occasion. The KYNAH team was so incredibly
helpful. Everyone made sure I was happy and satisfied from the beginning to the end. When I had questions about my outfit they hoped on calls with me and showed me everything before hand so I could see it for myself. I really appreciated the dedication and it made this experience so smooth and stress free for me.
What about the Elizabeth Lehenga stood out to you? How did you know
it was the one for your engagement?
I found this lehenga in 2021 during my brothers wedding. As soon as I laid my eyes on it I knew I had to wear it, but just had to find an occasion that was perfect for that outfit. When I realized I would be getting engaged this year I knew it would be the perfect time to wear this. The Elizabeth Lehenga was even more perfect in person than it was in pictures. We had our engagement party in November, so the green went so beautifully with the weather and our decor.
How did he propose? Tell us more about your relationship!
My fiancé and I have been dating since 2018 and have formed lots of special connections around our city of Philadelphia. He originally wanted to do it at a spot we had carved in our initials a few years ago, but unfortunately that place was vandalized and fenced off during Covid. Instead, he found a beautiful gazebo just a few 100 feet from the original spot that was 1,000% more beautiful. It was right over the water and hidden away from the public so that no one could see what was happening. He surprised me with a red carpet leading up to the neon sign that read “Will you marry me” with flowers and candles all around. I am typically a very difficult person to surprise so I was so incredibly shocked that he and my family pulled this off. Both our families were there together too which was a dream come true since his sister and family live in SC and my brother and sister in-law live in NY. He even hired a photographer that was creeping in the bushed until it was time for him to pop the question, which made the moment all the more special since we will now have those memories forever. It was an incredible and emotional day and I wish I could relive it all again.
What is one thing you are looking forward to planning for your wedding?
Something I am really looking forward to for our wedding is actually the Sangeet. That is the only joint event we are having a day before the wedding and I think it will be the most fun. We are getting a food truck for tacos and another one for dessert which I think is super unique and fun. We are also getting a stage built for all of the dance performances. In previous weddings I have been the self designated dance choreographer for my extended family, but this is the first year where I am not allowed to be involved and will be getting surprised by my family.
What is one thing you learned from planning your engagement party that will help you plan your wedding?
After planning our engagement party, we definitely learned that you can’t stress too much about the details when you get closer to the event. As long as nothing goes catastrophically wrong, everything turns out okay. At the end of the day, we are planning this celebration so that we can get married and party with our beloved family and friends so that is the most important thing to remember!
