The KYNAH team was incredibly helpful and accommodating. Communication was clear and timely throughout. Since I wasn’t able to get my measurements done in person, the team arranged for a member of their India team to hop on a Zoom call with me and take my measurements virtually. I was blown away by their excellent level of customer service. 
What stood out to you the most about your outfit from KYNAH? How did you know it was the one for you?
The Nirali Lehenga immediately caught my eye while I was searching for something that matched the vibe of our mountain elopement. It was truly perfect, elegant with the most intricate detailing. The stock photos on the website sealed the deal for me because I could just tell it would photograph beautifully in the mountains. The Nirali Lehenga is unlike most bridal white lehengas I’ve seen. I especially loved the deep neckline and the beadwork on the wrists. I truly felt like a princess!
My now husband, Bunty, and I have been together for 11 years. We actually eloped on our 11-year anniversary. We met back in 2013 as counselors at a summer camp and became best friends before dating about a year later. Bunty proposed eight years into our relationship at Sapphire Point in Colorado. In case it’s not obvious, we love the mountains.
What was your favorite part of your wedding? How did you make the wedding personal to you?
Our elopement was everything we had hoped for and more. Just the two of us, sharing our vows on an adventure in the mountains. It was a day purely about celebrating our love. A few months later, we realized we missed having our friends and family there to celebrate with us, so we held a Nikkah followed by an intimate dinner reception. It wasn’t your typical Indian wedding. It actually felt more like an American-style reception. We kept it small with fewer than 100 of our closest family and friends. We really craved that intimacy and wanted to share our love with the people who mean the most to us.
I wore my Nirali Lehenga again, both to be sustainable and because I wanted everyone to see me in it in person. Bunty and I are so happy with our decision. We truly got the best of both worlds and our parents were thrilled that we had a Nikkah too!
Honestly, I feel like we had it all pretty figured out since we didn't go the traditioanl Indian wedding route. Planning was a breeze, both for the elopment and the celebration afterward.
