Our beautiful KYNAH bride Rekha, was truly glowing in the Cherry Red Printed Lehenga by Drishti & Zahabia, Gilded Noir Lehenga, and Paola Lehenga by Ritika Mirchandani! Congratulations to this lovely couple - the KYNAH team couldn't be happier for the both of you!

Tell us about your experience working with KYNAH.
I had such a wonderful experience working with KYNAH! Planning a wedding in under nine months felt daunting, especially when it came to finding the right outfits, as options are limited in Austin, TX. The timing of the KYNAH pop-up in Houston was perfect for me! My mom and sister-in-law joined me, and we had an absolute blast trying on so many beautiful pieces in person. It helped me visualize exactly how I wanted to look and feel on my wedding weekend. The KYNAH team was fantastic —so kind, professional, and accommodating. They went above and beyond with virtual appointments to ensure perfect measurements, double and triple-checking every detail to guarantee the perfect fit. Truly a wonderful experience!
What stood out to you the most about your outfit from KYNAH? How did you know it was the one for you?
THE DETAILS! Especially with the Aisha Rao Gilded Noir Lehenga. I never thought I'd wear black to my wedding reception, but this lehenga completely changed my mind! I wasn't even planning on trying it on but my mom asked me to, for fun. The moment I tried it on, I couldn't stop thinking about it — so sexy, flattering, and just fun! The intricate details and beautiful craftsmanship made it so special. It was perfect in every way.
How did your partner propose? Tell us more about the relationship!
After a week away for work, I came home feeling a bit under the weather, but Neville had planned a special dinner out. I kept trying to reschedule, but he was unusually persistent, which made me a little suspicious. He took me to a rooftop restaurant overlooking downtown Austin, and just as he asked a 'stranger' to take our picture, he dropped down one knee and proposed! I remember us giggling the whole time.
What was your favorite part of your wedding? How did you make the wedding personal to you?
It's impossible to pick just one favorite part because every moment was so special. We cherished all the little moments leading up to the wedding — welcoming family and friends into our home for the mehndi, relaxing by the pool before the welcome dinner, and sharing a private rehearsal with our family and wedding party before the big celebration. Getting ready with my bridesmaids was so fun and kept me calm on the wedding day. And the best surprise: our family and wedding party put on a dance at the reception! I knew it was happening, but the people and song choices were a complete surprise. I still watch the dance video over and over again — it’s the gift that keeps on giving!
What is one thing you wish you knew before you started planning your wedding?
I wish I had known not to stress so much over the details and making everything perfect. Planning the wedding was overwhelming at times, especially because I wanted our guests to have an amazing experience. But in the end, all that mattered was celebrating this milestone with my partner, surrounded by family and friends who came to show us their love. The whole weekend was so special — we felt an outpouring of love and are still riding high from it all!
If you and your husband could have invited any celebrity to your wedding, who would it be and why?
Chris Martin (lead singer of Coldplay)! We are huge Coldplay fans and danced to an acoustic version of The Chainsmokers' "Something Just Like This" for our first dance. How cool would it have been to have him sing for us live?!
