A Glowing Goddess in the Sabrina Kaftan

A Glowing Goddess in the Sabrina Kaftan

Nothing could stop Rei and Aman from celebrating their love - not allergies, a little rain or even the pandemic! For Rei’s elopement ceremony, she wore the Sabrina Kaftan and looked like a glowing goddess. The KYNAH girls were so happy to be part of perfecting this special day and can’t wait to see her kill it at her vow renewal in another KYNAH look. We wish these newly weds a lifetime of love and happiness!

How was your experience with KYNAH?
Effortless, from beginning to end. I did everything online and it was my first time shopping for a custom-fit outfit. It was so simple and even when I sent in my measurements, the thoughtful responses on cut/fit with my height and how I was wearing it, let me know that I was in good hands. I felt informed about shipping and when I received it, wow! Just wow. Even the packaging itself was like a gift. The Sabrina Kaftan fit so well. I really, really felt beautiful.

What was it about the Sabrina Kaftan that made you say “Yes”?
When the pandemic hit and borders closed, we knew we were going to have to be flexible with our plans. When we decided to do a small elopement ceremony, I knew I needed a dress that was going to pull double duty. Something that could both make me feel like a goddess and still look amazing at a pool party next year. I looked at other dresses, but Sabrina, she’s just cool, right? Every person I saw wearing this dress had this goddess energy about her. That’s what I wanted and the moment I saw Sabrina, I knew she was the one.

How did he propose?
He had this elaborate proposal set up under some Cherry Blossom trees and even got both families involved. The photos would’ve been gorgeous, but my allergies got the best of me. He got me home, bundled me up, and took care of me while I was sneezing. He ended up proposing to me in my pajamas! It was practically perfect.

If you had to choose one moment from your wedding day, what would it be?
We were dancing outside in the rain, under a tree whose leaves kept falling on the ground around us. It was wet, muddy and so much fun! It was such an impromptu moment and it captures the joy, love, and pure excitement from that day so well.

Given the chance to do it all again, would you do it all again?
Yes! And in fact, we are doing it all again! We’re having a vow renewal, blessing ceremony, and reception with all of our family and friends with whom we couldn’t celebrate the first time. So I get to be a KYNAH Bride once more and better yet, I get to take my sisters along with me so they can experience all of the same excitement. #AllBlessNoStresS
