Pretty in Purple

Pretty in Purple
Our team at KYNAH wishes Samantha and Srikanth many many congratulations and a life time of happiness! This KYNAH bride wanted our Lemon Lehenga to feel a little more like her own, so we were able to customize the lehenga to a soft, pretty purple. The wedding and the bride were absolutely gorgeous all wedding week long and we were honored to simply be apart of it.

What was your experience like working with KYNAH for your wedding?
Working with Aisha and KYNAH was seamless! I've always known that Aisha has great taste and is incredibly reliable, and in a pandemic where I wouldn't be able to choose things in person, there was no one else I would trust for my reception outfit! She helped me pick the perfect color and was communicative about the creation and delivery process every step of the way! My outfit arrived earlier than expected and was exactly what I had envisioned.
What attracted you to the Lemon Lehenga?
I love to dance, and I wanted to wear an outfit for my reception that was elegant but still felt light. The lemon lehenga was perfect - the sequin work is stunning and bridal, but the lehenga was so easy to move around in and very comfortable! Purple is my favorite color, and Aisha helped me customize the outfit from yellow to a pastel lavender color that worked perfectly for an evening reception!
What was the inspiration behind your wedding theme/aesthetic?
We were lucky to work with our decorator, Sima, with WeddingsInStyle who created a beautiful open mandap for us with soft florals and pops of color. Our venue, Manor House, has stunning outdoor gardens which was our inspiration for the decor.
What were you most looking forward to on your big day?
We were very fortunate that our wedding fell during a time when vaccination rates were increasing and travel was becoming easier; we were most excited to celebrate with many of our friends and family that we weren't able to see during the pandemic!
What is one piece of advice you have for other brides/brides-to-be?
My biggest pieces of advice would be to let the little things go, appreciate all of the help from your closest family and friends, and soak in the moment! Planning a wedding during a pandemic was stressful, but being flexible made the process easier and more enjoyable!
