The Victoria Lehenga was the perfect look for Kirti's Disco themed Sangeet, and she rocked it! Their first dance looked straight out of a fairytale and the KYNAH team is so happy to have helped make that happen. We wish the new couple a lifetime of love and sparkles!
What was it about the Victoria Lehenga that made you say “Yes!”?
The theme of our Sangeet was Disco, so I was looking for a silver lehenga that reflected that vibe. I had already had my heart set on the
Victoria Lehenga but wanted to see a couple more options before I made a decision. Simran from the KYNAH team was super helpful. She was very patient and showed me other options as well as several pictures of the
Victoria Lehenga to assure me that it was a perfect fit. I specifically loved the back of the blouse and the dupatta which had a series of dangling beads and crystals that added to the disco theme.
How did you add your personal touch to you and your husband’s big day?
Arjun and I have always loved to wear matching outfits. We paid extra attention to making sure that our outfits complimented each other’s really well. We also did our best to match our outfits to the themes and décor of each event.
What’s one piece of advice you have for other brides/brides-to-be?
No matter how much you plan, on the day of your wedding, some things will happen that are out of your control. You just have to stay calm and savor every moment of your big day because it will all pass by in the blink of an eye. You deserve to enjoy every moment of your wedding. Some things that I did to help to stay calm were listening to my favorite playlist while I was getting ready, having all my bridesmaids come to my bridal suite before each event, cutting down on coffee and drinking plenty of water to stay hydrated!
If you had to choose one moment from your wedding day, what would it be?
Our first dance. It was such a surreal moment for us dancing on the clouds (aka fog machines on the dance floor). First of all, we nailed it. Secondly, it felt like it was a reflection of all the planning and effort we put into getting to that magical moment.
How did he propose?
On September 26, 2020, we decided to go to our favorite winery called Andretti in Napa. Little did I know that this would be the place where Arjun would propose! He led me into the vineyard in the blazing sun to taste some grapes, which I reluctantly agreed to 😂🌞. He then dropped on one knee to propose! The funniest part was when a photographer popped out of the vines. I screamed and almost flung my wine glass! When arriving back from the vineyard, all our friends were waiting for us to celebrate! It was an unforgettable day 💕
