Alluring in the Aleesa

Alluring in the Aleesa
We all know that weddings are magical, but for this couple, weddings are where the magic started! Kirty and Ankur first met at a wedding, and their love sparked ever since! Both shared a passion for travel and went out of their way to share that passion. Our bride, Kirty, looks beyond stunning in Seema Gujral's Aleesa Lehenga. She truly shined like a gem. Congratulations to this beautiful couple - the KYNAH team is honored to be a part of your special day! We wish you all the love and happiness in the world.

How did you hear about KYNAH? How was your experience working with KYNAH?
I saw KYNAH initially on social media and absolutely fell in love with the pieces that were promoted. I was surprised to see that there was a shop right here in the LA area where I live. I was so excited that I immediately booked an appointment to try on various pieces and to get a feel of what designer I wanted to go with for my bridal lehenga. My experience was so personalized that I even made a second appointment to place my bridal order and to get measured. Again, the experience was great. Zynah was my stylist and I truly loved working with her. Every step from start to finish was very stress-free. I didn’t get to see my outfit in person until just weeks before my actual wedding since it was a new design and had not reached the U.S. yet. Nonetheless, it did not disappoint!! It was even better than I had imagined. The designers made customizable adjustments for me and it ended up fitting like a glove with no alterations needed. It was absolutely perfect!

What about the Aleesa Lehenga made you say "Yes!"? How did you know it was the one?
For me personally, I did not want to go the traditional red lehenga route. As
everything with my wedding, I wanted my outfit to be unique & something that my guests had never seen before. Many of Seema Gujral’s pieces stood out to me during my appointment at KYNAH and so I began my search for the perfect lehenga starting with her newest line at that time. I came across the Aleesa Lehenga and immediately fell in love. The delicate pearl embroidery work, the color which was a unique and neutral rose gold & of course the train all stood
out to me. Although I wasn’t able to see the lehenga in person, I went with my
gut and took a risk which 100% paid off!

How did he propose? Tell us more about your relationship!
We love weddings so much that we actually met at one! We hit it off almost immediately at a reception back in 2016. We were in a long distance relationship for 4 years. I was just starting pharmacy school in Georgia & Ankur moved a week after we met to LA to pursue work in the entertainment industry. We didn’t see this as much of an obstacle but rather an opportunity to travel together. We would meet in different cities and states that we had never been to & just explored together. Our love for travel grew like our love for each other over the years, and after we were able to travel after Covid again, we decided to do an international trip together to Spain in 2021 for our birthdays which are only 5 days apart. We started our trip in Madrid & ended it in Barcelona where he proposed on November 11, 2021. Exactly one year later on November 11, 2022 we got married. Now we plan to celebrate our birthdays and anniversary every year with a fun international trip together!

What was your favorite moment from your wedding?
It’s hard to choose just one because it was truly the best week of our lives. I
loved my parents walking me down the aisle because that is truly something a girl waits all her life for. I also loved walking back up the aisle as a whole new wife! That’s when I think it hit me.

Do you have any advice for brides/brides-to-be?
Don’t sweat the small things! There are probably going to be so many things that do not go according to plan, but no one is going to realize except for you. Enjoy every second of it!! You put in too much hard work to not enjoy your
own wedding. Just go with the flow & make the most of each & every event. Sleep when you can but you’ll mostly sleep when it’s over. There are going to be times where you are so tired but just power through because it is so worth it!
