Unconditional Love in the Marilyn

Unconditional Love in the Marilyn
Allocating time for one another is a huge factor in maintaining a strong relationship and that’s exactly what Felicia and her now-husband proved to us. After being together for over 10 years, they finally tied the knot after having to re-schedule three times due to COVID. The KYNAH team was so happy that we made her trip to LA worth it and we were able to match her wedding vision with the Marilyn! Congrats once again to these lovely newly weds, we wish them decades more of love & happiness together!

What was it about the Marilyn Gown that made you say "Yes!"?
I had visited quite a few bridal boutiques, however a lot of them did not have the style I was looking for and many of them were the same look. I made a trip out to LA from the Bay Area with my mom and sister specifically to shop at KYNAH because I discovered them through Instagram at the time. I said "YES!" to the Marilyn Gown because it was absolutely stunning and the details spoke for themselves. It was a piece I have envisioned on my wedding board since it gave a western and ball gown look. I felt like a real life cinderella during my reception and I could not be any more happier in choosing the Marilyn Gown!

How was your experience with KYNAH Team?

My experience with the KYNAH team was absolutely amazing! It was appointment based and they take COVID guidelines seriously so I felt safe and relaxed during my bridal shopping experience. I tried on many of their gorgeous and unique pieces which all were different styles that I loved. The customer service was 10/10 and I would definitely be making a trip back to LA for the next event I will go to.

How did you meet your husband? Tell us a little bit about your relationship?
Steven and I met in 2007 while attending high school. I asked him to my junior prom since I had a small crush on him. We dated after highschool in 2011 and have been together ever since. Over our 10 year relationship, we have built a strong foundation together with commitment, unconditional love, and trust. The one thing that we established between us is to always make quality time for each other by going out on dates, friday mornings for coffee before work, traveling, and trying out new activities!

How did you start planning your wedding? What were the first steps?
I started my wedding planning at the end of 2019 when I got engaged. The first steps in my wedding process was to get a planner and look for venues. I had many appointments set up to book a wedding date ASAP since I wanted to get married in the month of October. I would say it was not an easy path since I had to push my wedding date 3 times due to the pandemic. As I look back, one  piece of advice I can give to future brides is to have 2-3 back up plans and book everything early, since life can throw anything at you.

How did he propose?
I was going to brunch with my sister at the Ritz Carlton in Half Moon Bay, and as we pulled up in the parking lot we walked near the sea cliff. I noticed rose petals and candles on the ground that led me towards the set up where Steve was waiting. He created a cartoon book of him & I that reflected all of our major milestones we accomplished and experiences we endured together. It was one of the best moments in my life because he planned such a romantic way to propose and I could not have been any happier!
