Chhavi's Fairytale Reception in the Larissa
From an intimate beach proposal to a fairytale reception Chhavi Chaudhary and her now-husband, Kalyan finally tied the knot! For their elegant reception, Chhavi wore our Larissa Lehenga and looked breathtakingly beautiful! The KYNAH team was pleased to hear that despite being a COVID bride, we were able to make her shopping experience as comfortable as possible! How was your shopping experience with Team KYNAH?
Smooth & secure! This was my first purchase from KYNAH & they NAILED it! I ordered my dress in November 2020, due to COVID I expected major delays but my dress arrived customized within a month and with a matching mask! I requested for lining to placed bandeau style to match my comfortability level & KYNAH did just that.
The packaging of the dress was so durable. Since my wedding was still some time away, it was very useful to have the KYNAH dress bag that Larissa came in.
What is about the Larissa Lehenga that you were drawn to for your Reception?
When I saw Larissa I immediately thought of of a fairy. It’s got great movement, light & airy. I knew I wanted to wear lavender & Larissa is the perfect shade. The high quality glass work on the dress added that extra sparkle which allowed me to wear minimal jewelry. In Larissa lehenga I felt elegant & confident.
How did he propose?
He took me to Naples Beach in Florida to view the sunset. He did our own private proposal on the beach first & then shortly afterwards had the photographer come for pictures. This really allowed for us to be in the moment. He ended the evening with a cozy fireside dinner at Ritz-Carlton. He surprised me by having the restaurant provide a separate vegetarian menu for me to choose from. It was definitely an evening for us to remember forever.
Any advice for brides/brides-to-be?
The wedding day flies by rapidly. Be in the moment. Remind yourself to slow down, be mindful, and reflect on this special moment. Spend as much time possible with your wedding guests because your wedding is one of the rare events in life where all your favorite people will collect under the same roof. My favorite part was just getting to share laughs, hugs, & joy with all my favorite people.
What is one moment from your wedding day that you will never forget?
Our first look! We did our first look at the Gerald Hines Waterwall in Houston across our venue. It was a great way to start our wedding day with us getting to spend time alone before participating in our wedding festivities.
