Celebrating Love In Bloom

Celebrating Love In Bloom
This traditional Haldi ceremony in India had our bride and groom flourish as they shared their culture with their loved ones from all over the world. KYNAH bride, Adya, looked absolutely stunning wearing Devnaagri's vibrant, Mustard Chanderi Silk Lehenga - perfect for an Haldi event! Congratulations to this lovely couple - the KYNAH team is honored to be a part of your special day! We wish you all the love and happiness in the world!

How did you hear about KYNAH? How was your experience working with KYNAH?
As an Indian living in New York, it has been nearly impossible to find outfits in America that are at the same standard as the ones you can buy in India - so when I heard about KYNAH, I was so happy that there is now a resource for Indian brides all over the US. I saw that KYNAH was doing a pop up in NY, so I immediately asked my best friend to come with me for a private appointment. While I was making a trip to India to buy outfits for most of my events, I did not have a Haldi outfit yet so my mission was to find something simple yet fashionable and I was able to find something within 10 mins of walking into the pop up!

What about the Mustard Chanderi Silk Lehenga stood out to you? How was it perfect for your Haldi?
I wanted something that was affordable since obviously during the Haldi, I knew my outfit would get completely covered in Turmeric. I also wanted something that would stand out so this was the perfect option. The KYNAH team was able to help with customizations that made this unique to me and I had an amazing experience working with them to create the perfect look.

How did you make your Haldi unique to you and your husband?
What made my Haldi unique is that we had so many people come to India from NY so we were able to watch all of our friends experience an Indian event for the first time. Our Haldi was the first event of our wedding so the energy was at an all time high. We also had all of our guests wear yellow and it was so beautiful to see guests from all around the world all dressed up & dancing.

What is a memory from your wedding that will live with you forever?
The small moments I got with my husband in between all of the craziness were definitely the moments I will treasure. Every time we entered an event, even with hundreds of people looking at us, it always felt like it was just him & I.

Do you have any advice for brides that are just beginning their bridal
planning journey?
Remind yourself that no matter what, you are going to have the best time of your life. Brides get so nervous about things going wrong and sometimes forget to be in the moment which is the most important part. No matter what goes wrong, everyone who is there is there for you and no one will notice!
