Editor's Note

There's a soft translucence to this sea green tulle that gives it all its character. The fabric drapes lightly, holding this fine shimmer that shifts as one moves. Resham aari work and contemporary zardozi spread across the surface in these layered patterns, detailed, yes, but measured enough that one can still see the base fabric beneath. The sari settles into fluid pleats at the waist before flowing into an easy fall. There's movement without any of the weight. The pallu carries denser embroidery, adding a bit more definition while keeping everything balanced. A structured blouse anchors it all, giving nice contrast against the softness of the tulle.
