How was it working with Team KYNAH?

Working with the KYNAH team was a dream. I was able to set up a virtual bridal consultation with Aisha. How neat is that?! I shared exactly what I wanted and the team took care of the rest. Simple and easy. Damini was a gem. She verified my measurements via video chat and asked questions to make sure I was getting exactly what I wanted! I felt taken care of through the whole process.

Why were you drawn to the Cream Lehenga Set and the Mae Kaftan?

I had been eyeing the Mae Kaftan for a while but did not have a place to wear it. One day it was on sale so I bought it. I knew I'd want to wear it for my Mehndi or Haldi ceremony one day.

I wanted an American/Indian fusion wedding but I knew I did not want to wear a traditional American white dress. I was drawn to the simplicity and uniqueness of the lehenga. I had never seen anything like it before!

What is one moment from your wedding day that you will never forget?

My friends choreographed dances for us. They reached songs and picked Hindi songs to dance to. They aren't familiar with Bollywood so learning the dances and performing it our wedding was amazing! It was nice to blend the 2 cultures together.

What was the smartest thing you did while planning your wedding?

Plan ahead! The more time you give yourself, the better you will feel and set yourself up for success. Also, don't worry about everyone else. This day is about you and your partner. Do what YOU want!

How did he propose?

Nick was carrying around with him everywhere we went and was waiting for the perfect moment. He knew I did not want anything elaborate or in a huge public setting. We are pretty simple people. One day, we decided to visit a winery in North GA. He told my best friend that he was going to propose that day but I had no idea. She lives in Florida so she couldn't be there. While we were walking the vineyards, he decided to get on one knee and pop the question. I was in pure shock. It was simple, sweet, and just the kind of proposal I would have dreamed of!
