Rachel flew across the country in search of her dream lehenga, and the moment she saw herself in the Sasha, stunned by its perfect fit and intricate detail, she knew all the travel and anticipation had been worth it. What began with a surprise proposal on a Sedona rooftop overlooking red rock vistas blossomed into a deeply personal celebration in New Orleans, where the couple exchanged private vows before the ceremony and treated their closest friends and family to a magical, intimate evening. Every detail, from the curated cocktails to the emotional quiet moments, reflected the care, thoughtfulness, and love at the heart of Rachel’s journey.
Our beautiful KYNAH bride Rachel, was truly glowing in the Sasha Lehenga,an exclusive lehenga by KYNAH x Seema Gujral! Congratulations to this lovely couple - the KYNAH team couldn't be happier for the both of you!

Tell us about your experience working with KYNAH.
I flew to Santa Monica for a weekend to meet with the KYNAH team. Shrinal did an amazing job walking me through every detail and ensuring a thorough, personalized fitting!
What stood out to you the most about your outfit from KYNAH? How did you know it was the one for you?
I originally saw the dress online and immediately felt drawn to it. I even emailed the company to confirm it would be available to try on before I booked my flight across the country. At that point, I had tried on many other dresses, but I kept going back to the photos of the Sasha. I eventually told myself that I had to fly out and try it on, or I’d regret it. I visited another boutique before my KYNAH appointment and, once again, didn’t find anything I truly loved. The moment I saw myself in the mirror wearing the Sasha, my jaw dropped. The detail, the fit, the way it laid on me... it was perfect.
How did your partner propose? Tell us more about the relationship!
He surprised me with a trip to Sedona, Arizona, where he proposed on the rooftop of our hotel, overlooking the breathtaking red rock formations. It was truly the most beautiful surprise I’ve ever experienced.
What was your favorite part of your wedding? How did you make the wedding personal to you?
We chose to have our wedding in New Orleans, which was a first-time destination for most of our guests. We kept the guest list small, creating a beautifully intimate ceremony and reception. The venue, the specialty cocktails, and all of our carefully selected vendors helped create a magical and unforgettable atmosphere. Our favorite part of the day was sharing our vows in private before the ceremony— it was such a special and personal moment.
What is one thing you wish you knew before you started planning your wedding?
Planning a wedding in New Orleans, I didn’t fully know what to expect. One thing I wish I had known was just how quickly the day would fly by. Thanks to our day-of coordinator and many conversations with our vendors, we were able to bring our vision to life and truly had the wedding of our dreams.
If you and your husband could have invited any celebrity to your wedding, who would it be and why?
We intentionally chose to have a small, intimate wedding with only our family and closest friends. If you asked any of our guests, they’d confirm that having a celebrity there wasn’t something we wanted. A musical artist, however, would’ve been a different story— we would have loved to have Gregory Alan Isakov perform. His music has been a part of many special memories in our relationship.
