From a serendipitous meeting in Ibiza to a heartfelt fusion wedding surrounded by family from across the globe, Casey’s love story is one defined by connection, intention, and culture. Blending Indian and Western traditions seamlessly, her celebration was a true reflection of her journey—made even more special by a KYNAH lehenga that embodied elegance, craftsmanship, and the beauty of honoring every part of who she is.

Our beautiful KYNAH bride Casey, was truly glowing in the Brigitte Lehenga by KYNAH! Congratulations to this lovely couple - the KYNAH team couldn't be happier for the both of you!

As said by Casey:

Tell us about your experience working with KYNAH.
KYNAH was an absolute dream to work with from start to finish. Like most brides, wedding planning season was extremely hectic, and I was finding it hard to communicate with so many vendors as I did not hire a wedding planner. Despite the lack of communication from my side, KYNAH Support was so kind, supportive, patient, and wonderful throughout the entire process. The customer service is absolutely unmatched. We spoke at length about my measurements and design wishes, and I even got on a video call at one point for measurement assistance. A business like this could easily just send measurement guidelines and call it done, but the team made sure that I felt confident with my measurements and took the time to assist when I felt like I was maybe doing things incorrectly. They were also in close contact with the designers in India, which also took a huge burden off me to coordinate with designers many time zones away. That level of customer support is so unique and made the entire process such a breeze. They are knowledgable, passionate, and warm - exactly what you need in a stressful time of life! To the entire team - thank you for everything, especially for being one of my easiest vendors to work with. The photos speak for itself - the fit, look, and appearance was everything I dreamed of. I could not recommend working with KYNAH enough, and have recommended them to so many friends already!

What stood out to you the most about your outfit from KYNAH? How did you know it was the one for you?

Coming from a bicultural background, my wedding was "fusion". I had a traditional Hindu ceremony with a Western style reception. Given the fusion wedding, I wanted my ceremony to reflect the mix of styles. Therefore, I opted for a blush/light colored lehenga that felt like a mix of both styles. The beading and applique work was stunning; the appliques contained floral/leaf patterns that felt ethereal for a late spring wedding, and the beadwork added the shimmer/shine that was fit for a life event ceremony.

How did your partner propose? Tell us more about the relationship!
What was your favorite part of your wedding? How did you make the wedding personal to you?
My favorite part of the wedding was the blended aspect of cultures. A wedding between an Indian-American and Dutch person, with a Hindu ceremony, Dutch music playing during the bharat, samosas served alongside meatballs at cocktail hour, and the overall fusion of the wedding felt like a real representation of who were are and where we came from. It was especially wonderful to see how many people traveled from overseas to be there on our special day. Our overall guest count wasn't extremely high, but every person there meant so much to us and truly are an extension of our family.

What is one thing you wish you knew before you started planning your wedding?
It at times feels like a full-time job. Think about it - wedding planning itself is an actual career, and I had no idea how time intensive it would be until I got started! I was the first of my friends to get married, so I had no previous knowledge of how intense it would be. After the proposal, I began making my move overseas, and between that and wedding planning, it was a lot on my plate. If you're in a stressful time of life (new job, new house, big move, etc.), it might be beneficial to have a planner to keep you on track. I did mine without a planner and am so pleased with how our wedding turned out, but had I known how intensive it would be, I probably would have hired a planner to take some of the burden off.

If you and your husband could have invited any celebrity to your wedding, who would it be and why?
For my husband, probably a footballer. For me, Dua Lipa - that girl knows how to party and live her life to the fullest!
