A range of weddings starting in sunny California and ending with the scenic views of Mexico, this couple's love story is definitely one for the books! After the groom proposed in Valle De Guadalupe, Mexico with a hilarious cover up story, they instantly celebrated their proposal surrounded by loved ones in the vineyards. All eyes were on our bride, Tiyana, as she sparkled in Seema Gujral's Maya Lehenga for her reception. Congratulations to this lovely couple - the KYNAH team is honored to be a part of your special day! We wish you both all the happiness and love in the world.

How was your experience working with KYNAH?
I had a wonderful experience working with KYNAH! It was efficient since I could not make it into their store. I worked virtually with Simran; she made me feel comfortable and reassured the whole process. She was accommodating to my requests for videos and photos of the lehenga. For measurements, Simran provided proper guidance and walked me step-by-step. I highly recommend the virtual process for future clients; my lehenga fit like a glove when it arrived at my house!
What about the Maya Lehenga made you say "Yes!"? How did you find it?
As a Bengali Bride, we had a range of wedding events that started in Southern California and ended in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. I was in the market for a reception dress that would be glitzy and radiant for an outdoor venue, and that's how the Maya Lehenga caught my attention on the KYNAH Instagram page! I'm a fan of Seema Gujral pieces, and this was perfect for Cabo.
How did he propose? Tell us a little about your relationship!
My now husband, Christian, proposed in Valle de Guadalupe, Mexico. To my surprise, he got down on one knee at the last vineyard on our trip. He made up a funny story of how the vineyard needed advertising photos to explain the random photographers with us. And yes... I bought into his story! After he proposed, we walked to a separate area where I found both families waiting to celebrate with us. He planned a gorgeous private dinner in the vineyard for everyone. It was an incredible evening to spend with him and our loved ones.
What is one moment from your wedding day you will never forget?
We skipped the somber dinner music for a curated upbeat playlist for our sit-down dinner. Ironically this hyped up the crowd so much that our dance floor was full before the dance floor was even open. This led to such a fun dinner! We were seated with our wedding party, and I remember dancing in my seat and taking it all in... The fact that all our friends and family flew out to celebrate and party with us! It was a magical and emotional feeling.
Do you have any advice for new brides/brides-to-be?
For my brides to be, even with the best planning capability, little things can and will go wrong on your wedding day. Remember to embrace the imperfect moments. The imperfect moments end up being great stories at the end of the night and for years to come. So, enjoy, dance the night away, and remember to be fully present!
