Meet KYNAH Bride Surie: A Wedding Rooted in Elegance and Intention

For Surie, KYNAH made wedding planning seamless, with their team ensuring her outfits were perfectly tailored despite her busy schedule. After several visits to finalize her vision, her custom hot pink ceremony outfit, featuring a 25-foot veil, became the bold statement she always dreamed of, brought to life in collaboration with Seema Gujral. The KYNAH team personalized every detail, ensuring she felt confident and supported throughout the process. Surie and Umair’s wedding was filled with personal touches, from a Tulum-inspired Sangeet to a spiritual ceremony, making every moment deeply meaningful. Her advice for brides is simple: stay true to your story and let your unique vision shine.

Our beautiful KYNAH bride Surie, was truly glowing in the Selene Fitted Shimmer Tulle Skirt Set by Dolly J and the customized Layla Sequin Lehenga Set by Seema Gujral! Congratulations to this lovely couple - the KYNAH team couldn't be happier for the both of you!

As said by Surie:

Tell us about your experience working with KYNAH.

What stood out to you the most about your outfit from KYNAH? How did you know it was the one for you?
How did your partner propose? Tell us more about the relationship!

Umair proposed to me at the very place where we would marry a year later—the Ritz in Santa Barbara. He asked me to close my eyes and go into a meditation, envisioning the most perfect day and life. When I opened my eyes, there it was—the ring, shining brightly before me. He knew I wanted our proposal to be in a private, intimate setting with just the two of us, and it was exactly as I had always imagined. Beyond perfect and just us!

What was your favorite part of your wedding? How did you make the wedding personal to you?
My favorite part of the wedding? Having all of our favorite people in one place—it felt like the ultimate mini-vacation with our closest friends and family! It was amazing watching old friends meet new ones and seeing everyone have the time of their lives. Every detail of our wedding was carefully thought out, and it showed. From our Tulum-inspired Sangeet (Tulum is one of our favorite places in the world) to the sacred copal ceremony, every moment felt deeply personal. Walking down the aisle in a hot pink 25-ft veil carried by my brothers, releasing over 100 doves, and experiencing a spiritual ceremony—each detail was filled with meaning and intention. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day!
What is one thing you wish you knew before you started planning your wedding?
One important thing every bride should know before starting to plan a wedding is: to stay true to what feels personal and meaningful to you and your partner. With all the trends, opinions, and expectations, it’s easy to get swept up in what others think a wedding "should" look like. But remember, it's your day, and the best weddings are the ones that reflect the couple's unique personalities and love story. Focus on what makes the day special for you, and the rest will fall into place.
