Shanelle’s Elegant and Joy-Filled Wedding Day

Shanelle’s wedding was a heartfelt celebration of love, laughter, and unforgettable moments. She had always dreamed of wearing a white lehenga, and the one she found at KYNAH with its delicate geometric detailing and soft shimmer in the sunlight felt like it was made just for her. After five years of adventures together, her partner proposed in Croatia, surprising her while surrounded by some of their closest friends. When it came time to plan the big day, Shanelle and her husband focused on creating an experience that truly reflected their relationship; fun, meaningful, and full of joy. A close friend officiated the ceremony, the dance floor stayed packed all night, and they even walked out to a Bryce Vine song they both love. Every detail spoke to their story, making the celebration as personal and memorable as the love they share.

As said by Shanelle:

I had always dreamed of wearing a white lehenga for the ceremony. I had seen pictures of the outfit online and even had the chance to try it on in-store. I immediately fell in love with the intricate details from the geometric design to the subtle shimmer that caught the sunlight. Once I put it on, it just felt right and was everything I had been looking for.

How did your partner propose? Tell us more about the relationship!

He surprised me by proposing in Croatia, surrounded by some of our closest friends who had flown across the world to be there for our special moment. He planned such a beautiful engagement, and it was amazing to celebrate with everyone. By the time he proposed, we had been dating for five years and had spent many of those years traveling the world together.

What was your favorite part of your wedding? How did you make the wedding personal to you?

The best part of the wedding was celebrating our love with all of our people. Our officiant was one of our closest friends, someone who had witnessed our relationship grow over the years. We just wanted everyone to have fun and enjoy the day. Since we love to have a good time, we focused a lot of energy on keeping the dance floor full and the party going.

What is one thing you wish you knew before you started planning your wedding?

Time flies! Staying on top of everything can be stressful, but it’s so important to slow down and enjoy every moment. Being a bride is such a special time in your life.

If you and your husband could have invited any celebrity to your wedding, who would it be and why?

We’d invite Bryce Vine! We love his music and have spent so many date nights at his concerts. We even walked out of our ceremony to his song "Love is a Blessing."
