Datca Dreams: Sareena’s Bespoke Bridal Journey

The ability to customize! KYNAH has such great relationships with South Asian designers and also has such great industry experience, the ability to customize with the designers KYNAH works with was so creative and fun!

What was your favorite part of your wedding? How did you make the wedding personal to you?

My favorite part of the our wedding was the Sangeet night. We saw both of our families and both of our friend groups come together as one family and it honestly felt like such a magical night. Our friends and family prepared and performed dances, gave beautiful speeches and danced the night away. We will never ever forget this day. Daniel and I love the water, laying out by the sea, and being in the sand so we wanted to bring all our people out to the sea to celebrate our love. It felt extra special because we decided to have our wedding in Datca, Turkiye - a beach town Daniel grew up coming to every summer.

Daniel and I decided to visit Turkiye towards the end of summer in August 2022 to spend time with his family. I also had never been to Turkiye before so he was my tour guide around the city. One of the days he booked a sunset boat ride along the Bosphorus and during the ride he was able to show me different areas in Istanbul he lived or places he spent a lot of time at. We walked out to the front of the boat, I turned around and there he was on one knee. It was so intimate and perfect. I also happen to be wearing Kiska that day he proposed :)

If you and your husband could have invited any celebrity to your wedding, who would it be and why?

Honestly we wouldn't want to invite a celebrity. Our people are celebrities in our lives. I know its cheesy but true :)
