A Wedding as Unique as Their Love: Kajal and James' Vibrant Celebration

A Wedding as Unique as Their Love: Kajal and James' Vibrant Celebration

From the moment Kajal discovered KYNAH on Instagram, she knew it was the perfect boutique for her wedding attire. Her journey with KYNAH was nothing short of magical, as she found her dream reception dress and had it customized to perfection. Kajal's love story with James is as unique as their wedding celebrations; starting with a serendipitous office encounter and leading to a personal and perfect proposal involving her beloved dog. They eloped at the Grand Canyon, creating an intimate and unforgettable moment, and later celebrated with family and friends, blending their Hindu and Christian traditions. With KYNAH's help, Kajal's wedding attire beautifully reflected the timeless elegance and cultural fusion of their special day, making it a truly unforgettable celebration of love.

Our beautiful KYNAH bride Kajal, was truly glowing in the Ivory Pearl Scallop Lehenga by Seema Gujral, Red Nukta Peplum & Skirt by Bhumika Sharma, and Teal Blue Jaal & Floral Pant Sari by Diya Rajvvir! Congratulations to this lovely couple - the KYNAH team couldn't be happier for the both of you!

As said by Kajal:
How did you hear about KYNAH? How was your experience working with KYNAH?
What stood out to you the most about your outfit from KYNAH? How did you know it was the one for you?
I saw someone else try this dress on and loved the way it looked with the modern design on the lehenga skirt. It wasn't until I tried it on that I realized how much it sparkled. I took one twirl and my now husband said, "Kaj, this is THE one". I knew then that this was the one I was getting. It did not disappoint - EVERYONE talked about how beautiful it was and how pictures did not do the sparkle of the dress justice.
How did your partner propose? Tell us more about the relationship!
We are a bit of an unconventional couple, from the way we ended up together to the way James proposed to the way we got married and celebrated. Our story started with the two of us working in the same office but never having spoken to each other until one day James was running late for work and almost ran me off the road. James did not realize we were both going to the same place until we both pulled into the parking lot which prompted him to come to my desk and apologize and from there we continued to chat until he finally asked me out! Our proposal was also unique. Everyone was expecting James to propose on a trip to Mexico but instead he chose to propose a week later on a random Friday afternoon when I got home from work. He had it set up with the ring tied around my dogs neck. It was personal and perfect!
What was your favorite part of your wedding? How did you make the wedding personal to you?
My favorite part of the wedding was that we created something that reflected who we are as a couple. We were able to have a private moment with our wedding ceremony by eloping at the Grand Canyon but also able to have one of the best weekends of our lives celebrating our marriage with our closest family and friends. We also incorporated elements of both of our cultures and religions through my outfits, our food and music.
What is one thing you wish you knew before you started planning your wedding?
One thing I wish I knew was the number of decisions we were going to have to make throughout the process, no detail was left unturned! I was tired of making decisions by the end of it!
