A Day of Love, Laughter and Elegance
A proposal up in the air to memorable moments of love and laughter at Divya Seshadri’s ceremonies, this story is one for the books! The KYNAH team was thrilled to work with Divya and loved seeing how beautiful she looked in the Inaara and Narmin Lehenga. Congrats to this lovely couple, we wish them all the best on their future adventures together!
How was your dress shopping experience? What was your favorite part about working with KYNAH?
It was incredible. Before I hopped on a consultation call, I already knew I wanted to wear the Inaara Lehenga for the sangeet, but I had no idea what I wanted to wear for the reception. By the end of the call, I walked away with 2-3 choices that I felt really good about. I finally ended up picking the Narmin Lehenga for the reception.
What about the Inaara and Narmin Lehenga made you say “Yes!”?
Both the lehengas were exactly what I was looking for. I wanted the sangeet to be colorful, floral and really fun and the Inaara Lehenga checked all those boxes. Especially the blouse!
For the reception I was looking for a more classically elegant look, and the beadwork and the silhouette that the Narmin Lehenga had was perfect. I especially loved the jacket style blouse because it was such a unique look!
What is one moment you will always remember about your wedding day?
Two moments come to mind — one was at the sangeet when my grandmother surprised us with a dance. It was such a sweet moment, and she's got MOVES. Another was at the reception when my husband and I were waiting outside the ballroom to make our entrance and it was the first moment that we were by ourselves, just the two of us, not even photographers. We were so tired and giddy that we couldn't stop laughing and had to really pull it together to walk into the reception.
How did your husband propose?
On a hot air balloon overlooking the Rocky Mountains at sunrise. It was magical.
What's one piece of advice you wish someone told you before your wedding day?
Two hours between the ceremony and the reception isn't really that much time.
