Aleenah’s journey as a bride was a beautiful fusion of tradition and modernity, brought to life through her customized KYNAH outfits. With the Maha Lehenga by Mahima Mahajan for her Las Vegas elopement and the Amana Lehenga by Seema Gujral for her wedding in Oahu, Hawaii, Aleenah found the perfect way to embrace her cultural heritage while stepping confidently into her new life with Liezel. Their intentional wedding was filled with personal touches, including a phoolon ki chadar handcrafted by Liezel and the heartfelt vows they shared in front of loved ones. Aleenah’s wedding wasn’t just a celebration of love, but a powerful statement of identity and the beauty of embracing every part of who she is.
Our beautiful KYNAH bride Aleenah, was truly glowing in the Maha Lehenga by Mahima Mahajan and a custom Amana Lehenga by Seema Gujral! Congratulations to this lovely couple - the KYNAH team couldn't be happier for the both of you!

Tell us about your experience working with KYNAH?
What stood out to you the most about your outfit from KYNAH? How did you know it was the one for you?
I loved that KYNAH gave me the space to dream of what a modern Desi outfit could look like. I'm so proud to be queer and Pakistani, but it can often feel like those identities are at odds. At KYNAH, I felt like I could embrace all aspects of my identity and find something that made me feel connected to my Pakistani identity and confident as I stepped into a new phase of life. And when I saw everyone's reactions to the way I sparkled in the O'ahu sun, I knew I had picked the right outfit.
How did your partner propose? Tell us more about the relationship!
What was your favorite part of your wedding? How did you make the wedding personal to you?
We really wanted to plan an intentional wedding, so we incorporated as many personal details as possible, whether it was writing personalized notes to each of our guests or doing our vows in front of everyone. One of the most special moments was walking down the aisle under a phoolon ki chadar that Liezel had built for me from scratch, and we had shipped it from Seattle to Hawaii. I'm so grateful that I got to walk down the aisle to my wife while being escorted by my best friends. It was such a beautiful moment!
What is one thing you wish you knew before you started planning your wedding?
