How was your experience working with KYNAH?
My experience working with KYNAH was overall fantastic. Before I went in person to the pop up shop located in Santa Monica, I was in consistent communication with Simran, who was very responsive. Simran was extremely helpful in selecting and showing me outfits that she had prepared for me via a virtual meeting. I then proceeded to make an in person appointment to try on the selected outfits she had previously shown me. The in-person visit was great and helpful. She was able to allow us the time to try on various outfits, she also took the measurements in person which made it much easier. In regards to communication during the process, it was overall very smooth. KYNAH kept me updated on the status of my outfit when updates became available, so I wouldn't have to worry. I highly recommend this shop, the quality of the outfit, the communication from the staff is all you would want for the perfect bridal experience.

When did you know the Avani was for you? What about it made you say "Yes!"?
Before I arrived at my appointment, a photo of the Avani was sent to me via email and let me tell you, the picture did not do it justice. It was definitely not on my radar at first, however once I saw the outfit in person It was a winner for me. From the fit to the material and small details, it was eye catching. When I arrived at the store, it was one of the first outfits Siman had already pulled for me. It was the second outfit I tried on and I loved it instantly. This was my first experience trying on a Lehenga. I fell in love with the Avani. I had taken my sister in law who is very experienced with wearing lehengas, so I knew she would be perfect company in helping me decide on the perfect dress. Initially I really thought I was going to choose something red or maybe pastel but the moment I tried on the Avani, I did a twirl I just fell in love. The color and unique detailed design, it was a no brainer for me, YES YES YES. It had the right amount of sparkle, the top had elegant fitting, the skirt was beyond perfect and screamed bridal. It was the easiest yes to this stunning classy Avani.

If you could go back to one moment during your wedding day, what would it be?
I wore the Avani Lehenga for one of my pre-events as our wedding was a mix between Punjabi culture and Western. We did a blend of both cultures which I absolutely loved. If there could be one moment from the event I would love to go back to, it would be dancing in the lehenga, the sparkle of the dress shimmered the the night away it was just perfect, a Bollywood dream. I could twirl and dance all night with the stunning Avani.

How did he propose? Tell us a little about your relationship!
Myself and Kyran met 8 years ago in Santa Barbara. Kyran moved to America from England on a soccer scholarship at Santa Barbara City College and then later on, University of Hawaii. We both lived in the same apartment complex where we became good friends that developed into a deep relationship we now share. Throughout our eight years, two of them we did long distance as I attended UCLA, and he went to University of Hawaii. Of course, it wasn't a bad place to visit but the long distance taught us so much about one another and ultimately brought us closer. Fast forward to July 17th, 2022 Kyran surprised me with the proposal. He told me to get dressed up, as we were supposably meeting some of his "work colleagues" at one of our favorite resorts in Orange County. Once we arrived, I had a feeling he might have something up his sleeve. As we walked towards the iconic rotunda, he got down on one knee and proposed. In addition, he hired a secret photographer to take pictures and do a mini photoshoot. He organized a beautiful dinner at the resort to celebrate. It was truly magical.

Do you have any advice for future brides/brides-to-be?
Don’t overthink the small stuff, if you feel good in an outfit and your gut tells you it's right, then go with it. Be yourself and enjoy the process. At the end of the day time flies so just enjoy each moment and be present.
