Gayatri Ravi gave us all the magical summer wedding vibes in her custom Elizabeth Lehenga that she stunned in for her reception! The KYNAH team adored working with Gayatri and enjoyed perfecting her lehenga! Congratulations to this lovely couple, we wish them all the best on their future endeavors! How was your experience shopping with Team KYNAH?

It was great, very personable! KYNAH made sure I received updates regularly and while I was shopping virtually, they were very attentive and prompt to all my questions. I'm pretty indecisive with things and when that happened, they offered great suggestions and really thought of my wedding as their own when answering the questions. They double checked my measurements and provided suggestions which was exactly what I was looking for in a store. After the dress was made, they shared photos as it went through final checks and I loved the consistent communication from the team. They really went above and beyond to make me feel special.

How did your custom Elizabeth Lehenga make you feel? Why were you drawn to it?

Where do I begin! I felt like a complete princess! My husband was actually drawn to the dress first. He was helping me find something for our reception and his favorite color is green. We were looking at the website and he stopped at the Elizabeth Lengha and said: "This is it. You would look so beautiful in this dress." The more I stared at it the more I fell in love with it, so together we decided this had to be the dress for our big day! When the dress was delivered, it looked exactly like the photos on the website. My entire family was in love with this lehenga and I'm so glad we got it.

Where did you go for your honeymoon?

We decided not to do a honeymoon. We did a staycation together and relaxed after planning this event for almost a year!

How did he propose?

Asanka made sure to propose to me in front of the people I love the most - my family. He got them all together and they helped decorate my parent's backyard with lights and flowers and an arch he and my dad made together. I came home that evening with lamps on the driveway leading me to the backyard. Every few yards a member of my family was waiting for me with a letter for me to read tied to a memory Asanka and I had made during our time together. The last letter was with Asanka who was waiting for me under the arch. He proposed with the help of my dog, Taco, and my family all there to witness it. It was beautiful and simple just like I'd wanted.

How did you add your special touch to you and your husband's big day?

We made our wedding invitation cards in a non-traditional way with images beautifully drawn by Urvi Seth at RAW Invites to pictures of Asanka and myself in our wedding attires at each venue. We were also able to plan the Mehendi hosted by our dog, Taco. Having Taco part of our wedding festivities was our special touch to make sure our family was there for every moment.
