Did you have a "this is the one" moment when you saw or tried on your KYNAH outfit?
Our wedding was a beautiful blend of two traditions and cultures, and I wanted to choose something that felt deeply true to who I am while still honoring both sides of our story. Growing up, I always dreamed of walking down the aisle in a white wedding dress. When we began planning our wedding, we knew we would be having a Nikkah ceremony, but I still wanted to have my "white dress" moment. That is when I realized a white lehenga would be the perfect balance. Something that honored my husband's background while also reflecting my experience of being born and raised in the United States and connected to traditional American wedding culture. 

I searched everywhere for the perfect outfit. After countless hours browsing online, I discovered KYNAH through Instagram and decided to explore their site. Within minutes of searching for a white or ivory lehenga, I came across the Sasha lehenga by Seema Gujral. 

I knew immediately that it was the one. It felt elegant, timeless, and meaningful, but I also knew I wanted to add a few custom details to make it completely my own. 


Did KYNAH introduce you to any ideas or styles you hadn't considered before?
When searching for my wedding outfits, I had three looks in total, and I knew I wanted each one to feel intentional and meaningful. I was drawn to white and ivory tones, but at first, I was not sure what my options could look like beyond a traditional wedding dress.

As I explored different styles, I realized that I could still have that bridal feeling in a way that was rich, elegant, and full of intricate detail. I fell in love with the idea of something heavily embellished, beautifully crafted, and timeless. I have always believed in choosing pieces that feel classic, especially for a moment as important as my wedding day.

What was the most memorable part of your KYNAH fittings or consultations?
While my entire experience with KYNAH was online and through email, I truly appreciated how seamless the process felt from start to finish. Their communication made it easy to ask questions, place my order, and customize my wedding lehenga in a way that felt personal to me.

How did you feel putting on your KYNAH outfit for the first time? 
The moment I put on my wedding lehenga, I knew I had made the perfect choice. Every detail felt like a reflection of who I am and complemented my personality so beautifully. I truly felt like a princess, and I received countless compliments from everyone around me.

What is your favorite photo of you in your KYNAH look, and why?
My favorite photo in my wedding lehenga is a solo shot taken in the garden at my venue. In that moment, I felt such a strong sense of confidence, and it carried with me throughout the ceremony. The pose felt powerful and graceful, and it truly showed off how beautiful the piece was.

How did the KYNAH team help make your bridal experience easier?
Everything about the process was easy and seamless, and I did not run into any issues. I am someone who knows exactly what I want, and KYNAH made it simple for me to bring that vision to life.

How was your communication experience with the KYNAH team?
As someone with a Chinese American background, I was not familiar with ordering bridal wear from a culture outside of my own. I really appreciated that the KYNAH team served as the main point of communication between me and the Seema Gujral atelier. Their guidance made the entire experience feel easy, comfortable, and seamless.

Would you wear your KYNAH piece again or style it differently for another event? 
I would absolutely love to wear my wedding lengha again. One of the things I love most about it is how versatile the pieces can be. I could style the blouse more casually with jeans or a skirt for a less formal event, and I could also rewear the skirt in a way that feels more relaxed and modern. It is such a special piece, and I love knowing that it can continue to be part of future moments beyond the wedding day.
