For her multicultural wedding, Amanda chose a white KYNAH outfit that perfectly paralleled her other wedding dress while showcasing intricate detailing. Their wedding was a unique blend of Pakistani and Canadian traditions, featuring a Nikah, Mehndi and Pithi combo, along with a, backyard ceremony, and a grand reception at the Fox Theatre. This seamless fusion of cultures created a celebration that was truly unique and personal. Amanda and Sheryar's special day was a true reflection of their love and cultural heritage.

How was your experience working with KYNAH?
The experience was seamless. I was naturally nervous to order my wedding dress online, but the team did such an amazing job. My first call I was able to talk through my vision and discuss which dresses I liked. The associate showed me the dresses they had in stock so I could see the detail “up close”. She also talked about the changes that could be made to each item. Additionally, the measuring guide was so thorough and straightforward. I was in constant contact with a team member, and my dress came in well before the estimated date.
What stood out to you the most about your outfit from KYNAH? How did you know it was the one for you?
Having a multicultural wedding, I wanted there to be a parallel between my two wedding dresses. I loved that my KYNAH outfit was also white but still had all the gorgeous detailing of the other KYNAH outfits I could have chosen.
How did your partner propose? Tell us more about the relationship!
Sheryar proposed at the Atlanta botanical gardens during the Christmas lights festival. That was one of our favorite yearly date nights! We’d been together for about 6 years at that point. We got together right after college. We both went to the University of Georgia, but never crossed paths. We’ve been together through it all! Long distance, COVID, career changes, everything!
What was your favorite part of your wedding? How did you make the wedding personal to you?
I think our wedding was incredibly unique to us as a couple. Sheryar comes from a Pakistani home, and I come from a Canadian (moved to America) home. We wanted to represent both parts of our families, while keeping it centered on who we are as a couple. So, we had a very non-traditional multicultural wedding consisting of a Nikah, mehndi and pithi combo, backyard ceremony, and then a large reception at the Fox Theatre. It was a long week and required so much time and effort from us, our family, and friends, but it ended up being so special, and so “us”.
What is one thing you wish you knew before you started planning your wedding?
Day of timelines are nice and necessary, but can quickly fly right out the window. Try not to sweat the little stuff, you’ll barely notice it the day of. You’re going to get overwhelmed at times, just breathe through it and rely on your partner for support. Everything is more expensive than it should be.
If you and your husband could have invited any celebrity to your wedding, who would it be and why?
