Samreen's Dream Moment in the Mirzah Sari

Samreen's Dream Moment in the Mirzah Sari
The Mirzah Sari was everything and more on our KYNAH bride, Samreen! It was important for her to choose an outfit which not only fulfilled her 90's Bollywood dream, but also an outfit which she could pass down as an heirloom one day. Samreen was most definitely glowing at her Ceremony. One of her most treasured memories with her partner was going out on the same trails they would hike on at the Cuyahoga Valley National Park on their special day as mentioned below. Through it all, Samreen was a dream in the Mirzah Sari by Seema Gujral! Congratulations to this lovely couple - the KYNAH team is honored to have been a small part of your big day.
As said by Samreen:
How did you hear about KYNAH? How was your experience working with
KYNAH?

I first came across KYNAH through their Instagram account. After browsing through their website, I was eager to set up a virtual meeting to discuss bridal outfit ideas. The KYNAH team is very professional and was an absolute pleasure to work with. They were so patient throughout the process of selecting my wedding day outfit. The video calls make you feel like you are at their store location, and they are quick to respond to all email inquiries, which makes the shopping process very smooth.

What about the Mirzah Sari made you say yes to the dress?

I grew up in India during the 90’s and was a huge fan of the Shah Rukh Khan/Kajol movies. I had joked around with my husband that wearing a saree to prance around trees at exotic locations with your partner is the epitome of love. All Bollywood jokes aside, I was looking for a saree that was timeless. I fell in love with the Mirzah saree. It is so elegant, understated, and under the right lighting you can see the intricate craftsmanship of the designer. I plan to pass it on as an heirloom someday.

Share your favorite memory with your partner.

Our wedding was at the Cuyahoga Valley National Park where my partner and I had regularly explored the trails behind the wedding venue during our hikes. Our favorite moment was going out on the same trails on our special day for our wedding portraits and spending some time with each other. It was such a unique juxtaposition of living one of the greatest moments of our lives in our fancy clothes but also being in touch with what we both love as individuals, being outside in nature in one of our favorite parks.

What was your wedding theme/aesthetics?

We incorporated elements from both India and Hungary in our wedding to represent our two cultures. Our wedding aesthetic was cozy lodge vibes with romantic lights, and earthy tones. The reception venue was a historic site. We wanted the rustic beauty to come through without including too many design elements. Our wedding was also a zero-waste wedding where everything used in the wedding was repurposed or composted.

If you could give one-piece of advice to all brides to be, what would
you say?

Leading up to the wedding, try to find ways to weave in small moments with all the important people in your life. I also think that finding a personalized way to make all your guests feel special can add a unique touch to your day. We incorporated a polaroid of each of our guests from their wedding day/special celebration as a thank you note with the favors.
